DJ Be Bop Kaz started spinning records way back in the 1980’s when female rockabilly DJ’s were only a little more common than Hen’s teeth. Alongside DJing for others in their clubs, she started promoting and DJing her own clubs and played her first UK weekend festival in the early 1990’s. Since then, she has played at all the top UK weekend festivals including The Rockabilly Rave, Hemsby, Atomic, and The Rhythm Riot as well as legendary London clubs like Dingwalls, The Tennessee Club, The Boston Arms, The Metro Club, and Bop-a-Lenas. Kaz is no stranger to DJing in Europe, having played at The Rockin’ Race Jamboree, High Rockabilly, Ubangi Stomp, and Blues at Moonlight festivals in Spain and events in France and Sweden too. Kaz has a radio show on Rockin247Radio. She’s looking forward to her first appearance at VLV which will also be her first time DJing in the USA.
