SwingDeCo dance is a variation of Zydeco dance from Louisiana with Swing incorporated. It's a 8 count dance instead of 6 which makes it easier to dance for long periods of time..(like at a festival) (expecially if your over 40 years old ;)... it won't wear you out quite as fast as typical Jitterbug or East Coast Swing.

We have been teaching Zydeco / SwingDeCo for over 20 yeas and were happy to do a free workshop or two at the festvial if folks are interested and they can find a spot to teach..
