for me above all else, its the vibe. Everyone is so chill and happy and it just feels like home to be with people who love the same things. In terms of musical acts, the Hillbilly fest was my favourite

Well, pool parties are fun when you can get in. Be ready to stand in line for quite bit to get in. And then again to fetch a drink at the pool bar.Too many bands to see them all, so pick your favourites. Late night recording hop to Bop & Jive your socks off. Meet people from all over the globe at the Alligator Bar. Many you already from all the festivals in the world, but there are always some new ones.

I'd have to say it's the people more than anything else. Going back to well before we ever met, my late wife Christiana never missed a single VLV, and while she was off feeding the one-arm bandits feverishly, I liked to just walk around and check out the clothes, the shoes, the hairstyles, all that stuff. Hey, what can I tell ya, I'm a people-person... 😜

It's hard to pinpoint just one! The band, the DJ's, the burlesque shows, guest speakers, the clothes, the hair, the vendors, the atmosphere....all at Las Vegas!!!

I've been doing viva without missing one (other than the covid year) beginning with number 8. My favorite parts have changed over the years. Originally it was the music, then it was the cars, then it was Charles Phoenix, then it was the fashion show, then it was the burlesque, back to the music. Each year I try to do something different, mixing in old favorites with new things. If I had to say that one thing that is consistently my favorite, it's Hillbilly Fest. Dave and Deke put on a terrific show.
